Dr. Lake is currently a professor of Psychiatry at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine, in Kansas City, Kansas. His expertise includes Psychoneuropharmacology and bipolar disorder. He has published several pieces recently concluding there is only one disorder, a psychotic mood disorder, which accounts for a patient’s functional psychoses.
