David Boyle is an NHS consultant in histopathology and a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. He graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2005 and commenced training in pathology in 2007, becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2011. He has worked as an NHS consultant in histopathology since 2014 and is a general pathologist with a special interest in dermatopathology and breast pathology. He has published a number of original articles and review papers.Derek C. Allen (Belfast City Hospital, UK) is one of the authors of Histopathology Specimens: Clinical, Pathological and Laboratory Aspects, also published by Springer.
