Jennifer Way is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Sydney. Her current research projects are focused on the role of mathematical representation in conceptual understanding.Catherine Attard is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at Western Sydney University and Deputy Director of the Centre for Educational Research at the School of Education. Catherine’s research interests focus on teachers’ technology-related pedagogical practices, student engagement, teachers’ professional learning in mathematics, and financial literacy education. Judy Anderson is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Sydney, and Director of the STEM Teacher Enrichment Academy. She is currently managing a large-scale mixed-methods research project in schools, intended to gather evidence of change in STEM programs and practices from the perspectives of students, teachers, parents, and school leaders.Janette Bobis is a Professor of Mathematics Education at the Sydney School of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney. Her current research project explores the impacts on teachers and young students of curricula designed around sequences of challenging mathematical tasks.  Heather McMaster is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney. Her research is concerned with primary school students’ developing understanding of measurement concepts and the intersection of the mathematics and science curricula in relation to these concepts.
