He is past-president of the International Society for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine (ISPPM) and current Co-editor of the International Journal of Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology. He has published numerous articles and books on prenatal and perinatal psychology and on psychohistory, including The Enduring Effects of Prenatal Life. Rupert Linder, M.D., is a gynecologist, obstetrician and psychotherapist profoundly integrating these three specialties in private praxis. Dr. Linder directs research in prevention of premature birth and improvement of mother child outcomes. He is past-president of the International Society for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Medicine (ISPPM). He in intensily working on the integration of the medical and social realms of his area and supports programs for improving early mother child interaction.
