Arild Velure has been working on electronics for particle detectors since 2010. He received his Bachelor of Engineering within the subject of electronics from the University College of Bergen in 2009 and his Masters in Physics within the subject of microelectronics from the University of Bergen in 2011. Velure was accepted for a Ph.D. stipend in spring 2013 at the University of Bergen. He was awarded his Ph.D. in Physics in spring 2019 for his work on the design of the SAMPA chip. He is now working as a fellow for the CERN ALICE Inner Tracker System.
