He has extensively worked in biophysical land management practices and soil amendments. His primary research interest is hydrological modeling of the effect of SWC practices on reducing soil loss. Ephrem Yetbarek Gedilu, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of hydraulic and water resources engineering with the Faculty of Civil and Water Resources Engineering, Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University. His research interest is subsurface flow and transport modeling, surface water and groundwater interactions, precision agriculture, and soil and water conservation.
