Jen-Tsung Chen Jen-Tsung Chen is a professor of cell biology at the National University of Kaohsiung in Taiwan. He also teaches genomics, proteomics, plant physiology, and plant biotechnology. Dr. Chen’s research interests include bioactive compounds, chromatography techniques, plant molecular biology, plant biotechnology, bioinformatics, and systems pharmacology. He is an active editor of academic books and journals to advance the exploration of multidisciplinary knowledge involving plant physiology, plant biotechnology, nanotechnology, ethnopharmacology, and systems biology. He serves as an editorial board member and a guest editor in reputed journals Dr. Chen published books in collaboration with international publishers and he is handling book projects for some more international publishers on diverse topics such as drug discovery, herbal medicine, medicinal biotechnology, nanotechnology, bioengineering, plant functional genomics, plant speed breeding, and CRISPR-based plant genome editing. Dr. Chen has been included in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2023 by Stanford University. Sunny Ahmar Sunny Ahmar is working as a scientist at the Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. He is an author and co-author of 75 articles, including original research, reviews, and chapters. His field of interest is genome editing, especially in CRISPR/Cas9. He has knocked out genes responsible for late flowering in Brassica napus using CRISPR/Cas9. He is also working on phytohormones, especially in Brassinosteroids, and looking for candidates’ genes responsible for BR metabolism in crop species. He is serving as a reviewer of several internationally reputed journals. He has collaborated with national and international scientists for academic activities.
