Andrea Coronato is full researcher (recently retired) at the Quaternary Geology and Geomorphology Lab. at CADIC-CONICET and retired Full Professor of Physical Geography, Geomorphology and Landscapes at the University of Tierra del Fuego, both at Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. Her publications are available in several specialized, international journals. She is co-author of the Springer title Glaciations in North and South America from the Miocene to the Last Glacial Maximum: comparisons, linkages, and uncertainties (2012). Besides, has published several chapters in the titles: Advances in Geomorphology and Quaternary Studies in Argentina. An Open Window to the Early Population of Patagonia(2022).Grace Bungenstab Alves is a Professor of Physical Geography at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. in Physical Geography from the University of São Paulo (USP) and specializes in studying the connections between soil and landforms in tropical landscapes. Additionally, she serves as the general secretary of the Geomorphology Brazilian Union (UGB) and is the Editor of the Revista Brasileira de Geomorfologia (Brazilian Journal of Geomorphology).
