A Supplementary Dictionary of Transport Studies

Dr Helen Roby works in the Centre of Marketing and Strategy within the Open University's Business School. After completing an undergraduate degree covering both the technology and policy aspects of sustainability, she continued to work at the interface between technology and social science through her PhD. Helen now works on a range of research projects including the impacts of disruptive events on travel practices and the effects of digital communication technologies on work-life balance. Her interests in sustainability and behaviour change are further explored through teaching on a social marketing course and an environmental management course.
