Iain McMenamin studied at University College Dublin, Nuffield College, Oxford and the London School of Economics. In addition to his work at Dublin City University, he has been a Government of Ireland Research Fellow funded by the Irish Research Council of the Humanities and Social Sciences and a Research Fellow at both the Research School of Social Sciences and the National Europe Centre of the Australian National University. He has taught a wide range of courses on comparative politics, European studies, and research methods at BA, MA, and PhD levels. He is interested in many topics in comparative politics and has published in journals such as World Politics, the European Journal of Political Research, Political Studies, and the British Journal of Political Science. He is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law and Government, Dublin City University.
