Prakash Chand Kandpal is a Professor at the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has five books to his credit: Environmental Governance in India: Issues and Challenges (Sage, 2018), solely authored, and four co-authored books with Prof. Bidyut Chakrabarty: Public Administration in a Globalizing World: (Sage, 2012), Indian Administration: evolution and practice (Sage, 2016), Public Policy: concept, theory, and practice (Sage, 2016) and Public Administration: from Government to Governance (Orient BlackSwan, 2017). His areas of interest are Public Administration, Public Policy, Local Governance, and Environmental Policy, Governance and Politics in India.
