Filip Struyf (PhD) is a physiotherapist and professor at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy at the University of Antwerp (Belgium). His profound expertise is the result of years of experience in clinical practice, education, and research. As a passionate researcher, he has dedicated himself to discovering new insights, thus developing profound expertise in various shoulder disorders. He has numerous international and national publications to his name and frequently serves as a keynote speaker at national and international courses and conferences, where he shares his knowledge and findings with fellow professionals. The author has published over 100 articles in several international journals such as the British Medical Journal (BMJ Open), Nature (Reviews Disease Primers), the International, American and British journal of sports medicine, Frontiers in Rehabilitation Sciences, Physical therapy, Journal of orthopaedic & sports physical therapy, Archives of physical medicine and rehabilitation and the European Journal of physiotherapy. Together with like-minded professionals, he co-founded the Shoulder Network Flanders, a collaborative effort aimed at improving shoulder care in Flanders.
