This book is about vitrectomy for complications of diabetic retinopathy, which is one of the most challenging terrain in vitreoretinal surgery. There are 27chapters, each with one main topic. In each chapter, one or two cases are presented first, along with image set, followed by the discussion of this topic. Author provides abundant figures from clinical cases. Several sets of images together in one figure, to show the various presentations of a particular condition.
The chapters are arranged in such a way that surgical tips and pearls as well as the important surgical topics are discussed first, followed by intra-operative and post-operative complications.
