Sheng-Xiang Lei, D.Eng, senior engineer, is Chief Engineer of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), an outstanding construction and management expert in the railways industry, and a State-Council Allowance obtained expert. He is invited to serve as Deputy Director of Science and Technology Committee of China Association of Construction Enterprise Management, Executive Director of China Railway Society, Vice Chairman of Tunnel and Underground Works Branch of China Civil Engineering Society, Vice Chairman of Underground Space Branch of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering, Part-time Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Southwest Jiaotong University and Shijiazhuang Tiedao University.
Mr. Lei is engaged in the construction management and research on tunnel and underground works, leads several national scientific research projects (topics) such as the National Key Research and Development Program "Research on Key Technologies for Safe Construction of Urban Underground Large Space" and the National Science and Technology Support Program " TBM Launching and Continuous Downhill Tunneling Technology for Long-distance Inclined Shaft of Coal Mines ", achieves more than 40 research results, wins over 10 province-level science and technology progress awards, publishes more than 50 academic papers and 9 monographs, obtains more than 20 invention patents, and establishing more than 10 construction methods.
Zhong-Sheng Tan, professor and Ph.D supervisor of the School of Civil Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University, is engaged in research on tunnel and underground engineering construction for decades years and achieves a series of research fruits. He publishes more than 100 academic papers, obtains more than 30 invention patents, wins 6 second prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 20 province-level science and technology progress awards.
Ming-Li Huang, professor and Ph.D Supervisor of the School of Civil Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University, is engage in the research on metro engineering, tunnel engineering and corresponding impact on the surroundings, etc. He completes several research projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, publishes more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals in recent years, wins 6 province-level science and technology progress awards, and obtains 4 invention patents.
Zheng-Quan Ding, senior engineer, certified constructor and cost engineer, is the manager of the Scientific Research Division of the Science and Technology Innovation Department of CRCC, is employed as the expert member of CRCC. He is engaged in technical research management on tunnel and underground engineering for a long time, administrates 2 National Key Research and Development Programs, and wins 6 province-level/ or academic level science and technology awards.
Ke Lei, PhD student of the School of Civil Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University, is focusing on the research of intelligent construction technology and risk management of tunnel and underground engineering. He participates in the National Key Research and Development Program "Research on Key Technologies for Safe Construction of Urban Underground Large Space " as one of the essential members, and takes part in the compiling work of a set of criteria of China Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. He publishes 9 papers, and obtains 1 invention patent.
