Dr. Harald S. Harung is an interdisciplinary researcher with a focus on peak performance, both on the individual and organizational levels. He is a high performer in lecturing, writing, and the sport of orienteering. Harald holds a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, and has worked as a researcher at Oxford University, naval officer, CEO of an engineering company, and president of an international business college. He was for many years teaching “Leadership, ethics, and world-class performance” to classes of up to 500 students at Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway. Harald has developed a Unified Theory of Performance, which states that higher mind-brain-development is the basis of higher performance in all professions and human activities. He has published over 50 papers and five books, and lectures worldwide.   Dr. Frederick Travis has been Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition at Maharishi International University in the US since 1990. His work has focused on brain development from birth to adulthood, higher states of consciousness, and the effects of meditation experiences on the brain. Fred has published over 90 papers and four books. He teaches on the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels and lectures globally on brain and consciousness. The New York Academy of Sciences has invited Fred to present his research there. Fred and Harald together were the first researchers in the world to find a brain-basis of high performance, which form a pillar of understanding excellence.
