Scott D. Marianno received a bachelor's degree in history from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and a graduate degree in history from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He is a certified archivist and historian at the Church History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is co-editor of A Voice in the Wilderness: The 1888-1930 General Conference Sermons of Mormon Historian Andrew Jenson with Reid L. Neilson and co-author of Restless Pilgrim: Andrew Jenson's Quest for Latter-day Saint History with Reid L. Neilson. Reid L. Neilson joined the Brigham Young University administration in 2022. Prior to returning to the faculty at BYU, he and his wife served as leaders of the Washington DC North Mission. He also served as Assistant Church Historian and Recorder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and as the managing director of the Church History Department. Neilson is the award-winning author and editor of more than thirty books, including most recently Restless Pilgrim: Andrew Jenson's Quest for Latter-day Saint History with Scott D. Marianno.
