Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem is a fellow and trustee of The Textile Institute and a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and the Royal Society of Arts. He is a member of the UKRI Talent Peer Review College and the Assessment Panel for the UKRI (AHRC, Innovate UK and NERC) Circular Fashion and Textile programme. He leads the “Digital Fashion Network” initiated with UKRI funding and being hosted at the Manchester Metropolitan University. His research interest lies in the digitalisation and sustainability of the fashion textiles industry. He chairs the annual events “Digital Fashion Innovation Conference (DFIC)” and the “Fashion-Textiles-Wearables (FTW)”. He edits The Textile Institute Professional Publication Series. Professor Parikshit Goswami is the Director of Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Exchange at the University of Huddersfield. He is also the Director of the Technical Textiles Research Centre. He is a trustee of Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) and was a member of EDANA’s R&D working group. Professor Goswami is also the first academic to be appointed to the board of the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT). He is a member of the high-profile advisory board for Textiles 2030, a national agreement led by WRAP.
