Robert Dygas, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the East Asian Economic Studies Department of The World Economy Research Institute, SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from SGH and a Master’s in Management from Aarhus University, Denmark. Dr. Dygas earned his PhD in Economics from SGH in 2003, with a dissertation on strategic management in Poland's mobile telephony industry (1995–2001). In 2011, he completed an Executive MBA at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School. With over 23 years of professional experience in multinational corporations across IT, telecommunications, and the public sector, Dr. Dygas has also served as an external expert for the European Commission’s Research Executive Agency (EASME), evaluating Horizon 2020-ECI-FTI proposals from 2015 to 2020.
