Jessica Pegis has written three non-fiction series for children and several picture books in the areas of citizenship, conflict, media, and science. Her publications include the little-book series Citizenship in Action and the picture book What Are Insulators and Conductors? (Crabtree Publishing). Her adult speculative fiction novel, The God Painter, was published by Stone Table Books in 2021. Jessica lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.Harry Briggs is an illustrator who lives in the Sierra Nevada foothills, where he has eaten and shared more than a gazillion sandwiches. When not drawing, he enjoys spending most of his free time looking for his glasses.
