Jannatul Ferdous is Associate Professor at the Department of Public Administration, Comilla University, Bangladesh. Her research interests include migration, gender and gender-based violence, governance, trust, civil service system, public policy, and development. Her latest books include Gendered Migrations: Navigating Challenges and Opportunities for Development (2024) and Social Safety Nets and Poverty Reduction in Developing Countries (2024), co-authored with AKM Ahsan Ullah. Maruf Ahmad is a rural development practitioner and a Ph.D. fellow at the School of Public Policy and Administration at Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. His research interests are Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), local government, public policy, human resource management, governance, and empowerment.
