Terry Flew is Professor of Digital Communication and Culture and Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellow at the University of Sydney, Australia. His latest books include Understanding Global Media (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018), Regulating Platforms (2021), and Digital Platform Regulation: Global Perspectives on Internet Governance (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022). Agata Stepnik is Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Digital Communication at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her academic work investigates digital and generative AI literacies, user agency within digital platform environments, the digitisation of news content, and platform regulation. Timothy Koskie is Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Digital Communication at the University of Sydney, Australia. His research looks at how changes in the media ecosystem impact on media pluralism and democracy, including news organisations and trust, AI-generated journalism, and policies towards the media ecosystem.
