Prof. Hermes Carvalho Professor of Steel and Composite Structures at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Porto, Portugal. His research focuses on dynamic and fatigue assessment of bridges and steel structures, rehabilitation of structures, and structural health monitoring. Kayode Olaleye PhD student at the Department of Mechanics, Materials and Biomedical Engineering, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland. His research interests include ballistic impact, nonlinear dynamics of materials, composite structures, and finite element modelling.
