Robin W. Tucker earned his degrees at the University of Cambridge and has been at Lancaster University since 1971, where he is now Emeritus Professor of Mathematical Physics. He co-founded the Cockcroft Institute of Accelerator Science and has worked at Daresbury Nuclear Physics Laboratory, CERN, and numerous universities worldwide. With over 350 publications, his research spans elementary particle physics, continuum mechanics, electromagnetic modeling, and gravitation theories. Prof. Tucker is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and a Member of the London Mathematical Society. Timothy J. Walton received his degrees in mathematical physics from Lancaster University and has been a Mathematics Lecturer since 2014. Currently he is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute, University of Lancashire. His research applies modern differential geometry to classical and quantum electrodynamics, continuum mechanics, and relativistic astrophysics. Dr. Walton is a member of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) Collaboration, the Institute of Physics, and the London Mathematical Society.
