Daniela Soitu is a social sciences specialist and a Professor at the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Human Resources from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. Her main research focuses on late adulthood from interdisciplinary and interinstitutional perspectives; she has studied access to social and healthcare services, well-being throughout life, personal and systemic vulnerabilities, and support services using the life course theory, ecosystemic, and sustainable perspectives.
Martin Lakomý is an Assistant Professor at Mendel University in Brno, Czechia. He employs quantitative methods to examine the situation of older adults in intergenerational family settings and the digitalised labour market, as well as their connection to value changes. A large part of his research consists of comparative studies on European macro-regions, so he enjoys gaining experience in cross-national collaboration.
