Prof. Yang Qingxin is the president of China Electrotechnical Society, professor of National Candidate of the New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project, provincial-level young/middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions, provincial-level managed outstanding expert, and recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance. He has previously served as the president of Tianjin Polytechnic University (2014–2018) and the president of Tianjin University of Technology (2006–2014).He developed parameter coupling algorithms for electromagnetic dynamic characteristics; established finite element methods for 3D permanent magnetic fields with arbitrary magnetization directions; innovated separation techniques for engineering eddy current and hysteresis losses; pioneered finite element computation of giant magnetostrictive effects; created mesh-free methods for electromagnetic field numerical computation; and designed annular permanent magnets for large-diameter Czochralski single crystal furnaces. Dianguo Xu (a fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in control engineering from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China, in 1982, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China, in 1984 and 1989, respectively. In 1984, he was with the Department of Electrical Engineering, HIT, as an assistant professor. Since 1994, he has been a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, HIT. He was the dean of School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, HIT, from 2000 to 2010. He was the vice president of HIT from 2014 to 2020. He authored and coauthored more than 600 technical papers. His research interests include renewable energy generation technology, power quality mitigation, sensorless vector controlled motor drives, and high-performance servo system. Dr. Xu is a chair of IEEE Harbin Section. Xuerong Ye (a senior member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2003, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He is currently the dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. His main research interests include failure analysis of electric apparatus and electronics, reliability assessment, and robust design of quality consistency. Dr. Ye is a fellow of IET and an associate editor for IEEE Access and Journal of Power Electronics.Qiuyue Nie was born in Liaoning, China, in 1982. She received the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2010. She is currently a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. Her research interests include the plasma generation technologies and their applications.   Yueshi Guan (a senior member, IEEE) was born in Heilongjiang, China, in 1990. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2013, 2015, and 2019, respectively. From 2021 to 2024, he was an associate professor. Since 2024, he has been a professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, HIT. His research interests include the areas of high-frequency and very-high-frequency converters, single-stage ac/dc converter, and high conversion ratio converters.
