Mohammad Reza Farzanegan is Professor of Economics of the Middle East at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. He is affiliated with MACIE (Marburg), CESifo (Munich) and ERF (Cairo).
