Ted Henken, M.A., who is a doctoral candidate in Latin American Studies at Tulane University's Stone Center for Latin American Studies, has traveled to Cuba extensively to conduct research and attend academic seminars. His current research concerns the intersection between Cuba's second economy (cuentapropistas) and its emerging tourism economy. Currently Tulane's Cuban Studies Institute's in-country liaison and program coordinator in Cuba, Henken was born and raised in northwest Florida. As a producer for CBS News in New York City, Eric J. Luther has covered disputed elections, entertainment, and crime and punishment. His work at CBS has enabled him to expand his knowledge and grasp of news and public affairs while honing his writing and reporting skills. Coupled with his undergraduate work (at SMU, in Dallas, Texas) in philosophy and political science, Eric's work experience enables him to turn a critical yet objective eye on Che Guevara.
