Faxiang Yang, professor, doctoral supervisor, is a chief expert of major projects of The National Social Science Fund of China, and Senior Visiting Scholar of University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. Currently living in Xuhui District, Shanghai, he is the vice Dean of the School of Social and Public Administration of East China University of Science and Technology, the Dean of the postdoctoral research mobile station of Sociology, the director of the Institute of Applied Sociology, the National High-level Talents Program Selectee, the cultural celebrity and "Four Batch" talents of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, and the New century excellent talents supported by the Ministry of Education. He is also a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Sociology Majors in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Council of Chinese Sociological Association, the Vice President of Shanghai Sociological Association, the Deputy Director of Anti-Poverty Social Work Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Social Work Education, Deputy chairman of Consumer Sociology Professional Committee of Chinese Sociological Association, and the deputy chairman of Rural Sociology Professional Committee.
