Prof. Ahmed Sharif is a Professor in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh. After obtaining his PhD in 2005, he subsequently became Professor and Head of the Department in 2014. He is also a Visiting Professor at the City University of Hong Kong and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed (SCI listed) papers in leading international journals on soldering
