Born in windy southern Alberta, Bonny grew up in a farming community surrounded by waving fields of wheat and barley. Her best friends were her horses (Beauty, Shorty, Whisper, Lady, and Dancer) and a variety of mongrel dogs. Her childhood fascination with books
has never diminished. Drawing from life experiences, she hopes her readers find as much pleasure in reading her books, as she does in writing them.
