Dr. Cheng Yu is a professor and program coordinator in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, USA. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from the Tsinghua University. Both his MS and PhD were earned from the Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Yu’s research interests include thin-walled structures, structural stability, cold-formed steel, and earthquake engineering.
