Dania Idriss (she/her) is a Lebanese-Canadian author and a doctoral candidate in the Department of English at the University of Calgary. Her writing focuses on global literatures, particularly Arabic speculative fiction. Her work explores Arab-futurity outside of the forever-wars that have come to define the Middle East. She gratefully lives and works in Calgary, on the traditional territory of Treaty 7, where she spends most of her time hiding indoors with her bunny, Arlo.
