Douglas Moggach is Distinguished Professor of Political Studies and Philosophy at the University of Ottawa and is also Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney, Australia. He has taught and published extensively in the history of political thought, especially the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries. His great love is theatre, and Shakespeare in particular, awakened by a boyhood visit with his parents to the Stratford Festival, and a formative production of King John.
