James Moran is Professor of Modern English Literature and Drama at the University of Nottingham. His most recent works include Modernists and the Theatre (Bloomsbury, 2022), The Theatre of Fake News (Anthem, 2022), and Modern Tragedy (Bloomsbury, 2023). He also edited a version of G. Bernard Shaw's Playlets (Oxford University Press, 2021). He is a winner of the Philip Leverhulme Prize and has been awarded a mid-career fellowship by the British Academy.
