Professor Jian Chen received his PhD from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Toronto. Following this he joined the State Key Laboratory of Transducer Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences where he has been focusing on exploring biosensors for single-cell analysis, enabling high-throughput characterizations of single-cell electrical, mechanical and proteomic properties. He contributed to the publication of approximately 90 journal papers and filed the applications of 40
