Prof. Junliang Zhang obtained his B.S. degree in Chemistry in 1997 from Tianjin University and PhD degree from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002 under the supervision of Prof. Shengming Ma. Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow successively in University of Cologne (Humboldt Fellowship) and then University of Chicago.
