His research interests include comparative European public policy, regulation, party systems, and Euroscepticism. Recent books include Understanding Public Management (Sage 2008) and Europe’s Nascent State: Public Policy in the EU (Gyldendal 2006).

Nick Sitter holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Government, on the development of competitive party
