Osamu Suzuki is Professor and Chair of Division of Craniofacial Function Engineering, Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry, Sendai, Japan since 2004. The division is in charge of education and research in the field of biomaterials science and skeletal tissue engineering. He was Researcher in Japan Fine Ceramics Co. Ltd., Sendai, and Senior Researcher in JGC Corp., Yokohama/Oarai, Japan from 1986 to 2004. He found in the first place an osteoconductivity of synthetic octacalcium
