After studying the fine arts in Montpellier, Emilie Plateau moved to Brussels, where she started her career as a comics author and illustrator, at first creating personal fanzines and later working for publishing houses like 6 Pieds Sous Terre ("Comme un plateau," 2012, and "De l'autre côté à Montréal," 2014) and Misma ("Moi non plus," 2015).
