Roy J. Glauber was Mallinckrodt Professor of Physics (Emeritus) at Harvard University, Massachusetts, and Adjunct Professor of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. In 2005, he received half the Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to 'the quantum theory of optical coherence'. He received many awards, including the 1985 Albert A.
