AlthoughI have lived in several cities in British Columbia, Canada, and on one small island, I now live in Cumberland, a historictown that deems itself the mountain-biking capital of the world. Or at least the province. Personally, I’m too old for crashing down mountains on two wheels but my six-year-old grandson loves it. He and his family (my daughter and her partner) live a block away. We spend a lot of time together.My husband died in 2023.
