Born in Talavera de la Reina in 1980, Toledano has a degree in fine arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he met José Robledo in 2001. That same year they were selected for the National Illustration and Comics competition of Injuve, which ultimately allowed them to be published by Sinsentido in a collective album "Tapa Roja" in 2003.
