Virginia Tonfoni is a journalist and comic book writer, born in Tuscany in 1978. She graduated with a degree in foreign languages and literature at the University of Pisa and then she moved to Barcelona to pursue a Master's in communications studies, after which she went to work in cinema and publishing for seven years. In 2012 she decided to go back to Livorno (Tuscany), where she now lives and works for several magazines. She has written articles for "Il Manifesto," "Il Fatto Quotidiano" and
