Wanda Taylor is the author of several fiction and nonfiction books, including Birchtown and the Black Loyalist; The Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children: the Hurt, the Hope and the Healing, and Ride or Die, a YA novel based on true events of a teen trafficked into the sex trade. Wanda has won the Women of Excellence Award for Arts and Culture. She currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.
